ABC Nevada offers a variety of educational programs for the construction industry including apprenticeship, continuing education, and safety training. All training outside of the apprenticeship program is done by the Construction Training Center in parnternship with ABC.

ABC Nevada addresses the need for skilled labor in the construction industry through its comprehensive apprenticeship and craft training programs. The programs are recognized and supervised by the State Apprenticeship Council (SAC) and the Department of Labor Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT). ABC’s training programs also are registered and certified by the Veterans Administration and are accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
Personal development and continuing education unit (CEU) classes are held throughout the year to assist companies and individuals in upgrading their skills that are associated with everyday tasks and maintaining state license requirements.
ABC’s safety programs and products help members maintain safer and more productive jobsites, one of the construction industry’s most critical needs. ABC offers safety training for both workers and management. In addition to training resources, ABC provides members a safety evaluation program, which is supported by a partnership with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Assessment testing can be used to evaluate journey-level knowledge and skills of experienced craft professionals, pre–and-post-employment purposes, and to provide a training prescription for a craft worker.
