APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING

Apprenticeship....The Other Four-Year Degree!

ABC Nevada utilizes the Contren Learning Series, which are standardized craft training curriculums developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).  Apprentices are placed in our NCCER registry upon successful completion of academic testing and task practical application.  Apprenticeship requires a long-term commitment of three to four years.  Upon successful completion of the three to four year apprenticeship program the apprentice will receive a certificate of completion from ABC, NCCER, the Nevada State Apprenticeship Council (SAC) and the Department of Labor Bureua of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT).  ABC's training programs combine classroom instruction with on-the-job training.  The employer pays all tuition fees and five College Credits are earned each semester.  Apprentice is responsible for books and job tools.  Benefits vary by company.
